Dave Williams

Dave spent six years undertaking general electrical installation and design work within British Steel before becoming an Electrical Draughtsman.

He then spent the next 30 years in local government, specialising in all aspects of exterior lighting and associated electrical design work he reached the level of Senior Lighting Engineer within Cleveland County Council with responsibility for a wide range of work such as the delivery of capital work programmes, writing of contract documentation, floodlighting schemes and lighting management, before its abolition as part of local government reorganisation.

For the last 10 years Dave has worked as a Consultant Engineer and Partner within Stainton Lighting Design Services delivering a wide range of specialist exterior lighting and electrical design services to a number of clients from both local government and the private sector.

Dave is a member of the Institution of Lighting Professionals (MILP) and also the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IEng) (MIET).
